Doni Wirandana, a man from Majalengka, West Java, has brought pride to Indonesia by becoming a finalist on The Voice of Germany 2022. Some time ago, he caught attention when he mesmerized the judges with the song “What A Wonderful World.”

Regarding his music career after participating in The Voice of Germany 2022, Doni Wirandana admitted that he has not been signed by a record label. However, he has been contacted by producers interested in collaborating with him. “No label yet. However, some producers have contacted me,” said Doni Wirandana in a recent conversation with Kumparan.

Currently, Doni Wirandana is preparing to release a single. The plan is to release the song next year. “It will be released, God willing, next year, probably in the middle or around April-March,” he said.

Doni Wirandana did not reveal much about the single he is working on. What is clear is that he is still in the process of writing the lyrics. “Now it’s just the process of writing the lyrics together. The music is already there,” said Doni Wirandana.

Doni Wirandana Didn’t Expect to Become a Finalist on The Voice of Germany 2022

Doni Wirandana admitted that he did not have high ambitions when registering for The Voice of Germany 2022 talent search. He was surprised when he became a finalist.

“I really didn’t expect it because many people also registered, more than 30 thousand people,” he said. “In Indonesia, I also participated in talent searches several times, and it’s difficult too. This time I just tried it for fun. My wife saw an ad on TV, ‘Oh, The Voice is happening again this year.’ So, I thought, why not give it a try,” concluded Doni Wirandana.
